Olu “SLK” Salako is a stand-up comedian, actor and producer from Nigeria. With his carefully crafted jokes and witty wordplay, the YOUNG LEGEND (as he’s often called) has endeared himself to fans around the globe. As an actor, he’s featured in various movies and tv series including Africa Magic’s Hustle, Makemation, FriendZone Landlord (self written and self produced) and the Netflix original Becoming Abi. In 2019, the “omo re bi custard” crooner, after taping his first stand up comedy special the previous year, became the first and only Nigerian Comedian to show his comedy special ( TGIF ) across cinemas in Nigeria. His sophomore comedy special, TEETOTALER, is streaming globally on the biggest streaming platform in the world, NETFLIX. His latest specials, The Just in Case Child (Best Comedy Film at TINFF 2024) and the newest, It’s Payback, cement his place as one of the best comedians to come out of Africa. SLK, for the 4th year running, is the host of the JJC with SLK Comedy Club.
